There are moments in life when you have to trust your instincts, bet on yourself, and take a leap of faith to change your life.
For years I had tried to find that perfect balance between purposeful work and earning a good living to provide for my family. My background is in public relations and advertising, and I began my career in bank marketing. I spent eight years in banking, and a large part of my role involved teaching and community engagement.
When the 2008 crash hit and local banks eliminated their marketing departments, transitioning into education felt natural. I started teaching preschool and eventually became the director, growing the school from 44 to 175 students. Leadership and growth became a pattern in my work. From there, I moved to nonprofit work with the Boys & Girls Club. It was another mission-driven role, and I enjoyed it a lot, but I still had to take on side jobs.
One of those side jobs was decorating businesses for the holidays. That led to an unexpected opportunity when a woman named Terry saw my work at a bank and later hired me to decorate her home. She turned out to be a real estate broker. Over time, we grew close, and she became a mentor, encouraging me for years to join her team. With three kids and a husband, we valued financial consistency. But finally, after years of conversations and weighing the risks, my husband and I agreed it was the right time to make the leap in 2021.

Even before I was licensed, I had clients waiting, and once I officially entered the industry, I surpassed my first-year goals. But it wasn’t without setbacks. Within my first six months in real estate, I had to undergo two major surgeries that were unrelated but each landed right in those early stages of my career. It was one of the most difficult stretches of my life. But during that time, the team I was newly a part of stepped up to help me. They stocked my freezer with food, covered for me with clients when I was recovering, and made sure I stayed afloat. That support, combined with determination and the drive to make this work, kept me going.
Real estate has allowed me to use the same skills I’ve relied on my entire career: communication, relationship-building, leadership, and a deep understanding of how to meet people where they are. I treat each listing with care, staging homes myself and investing in quality marketing because I believe presentation matters. I roll up my sleeves and work directly with clients to make their homes stand out. And with buyers, I stay patient and committed, no matter how long the process takes. Luxury isn’t about the price of the home. It’s the standard of service I bring to every client’s goals.
Since starting in real estate, I’ve consistently exceeded my expectations while helping clients achieve their dreams across residential, commercial, and land transactions, closing over $11 million in volume in 2024 alone. In this new chapter, I’m stepping into a leadership role for our team. It feels like a natural fit to return to what I do best: building a collaborative environment where our team can grow while staying focused on our shared purpose of serving others and giving back to our community.

The business I’ve built has had an incredible impact on my personal life as well. For the first time, I have the flexibility to be fully present with my family. With three kids—Kiptyn, Christian, and Chance—I can schedule around their lives and not miss important moments for them, like field trips or games. I also have more time throwing pottery on my wheel, learning to play the cello, volunteering with the youth group at our church, and going on weekly date nights with my husband, Kyle. This career has given me control over my time and a renewed sense of purpose!
Going above and beyond for my clients means providing more than just the basics. I approach each transaction with the mindset of a partner, not just a representative. For sellers, I offer hands-on support from day one, guiding pricing strategy, preparing the home for market, and ensuring it stands out with the help of trusted vendors for staging, repairs, and prep work. My background in marketing allows me to create personalized listing strategies with professional photography, videography, custom print materials, social media campaigns, and in-home marketing designed to make a lasting impression on buyers.
For buyers, I focus on clear communication, patience, and strategic guidance. As a Georgia native, I have a deep understanding of the state’s diverse markets and use that knowledge to help buyers find the right area that fits their lifestyle, needs, and budget. I tailor the process to each client’s goals and timeline, making sure they feel supported every step of the way. In addition to residential work, I also have experience in commercial and land transactions, helping clients navigate more complex purchases and investments with confidence.
No matter the price point, I deliver the same high-service experience that is proven to get results! My business is built on trust, and I work hard to earn it through consistency, exceptional communication, and a level of care that clients remember long after closing day!
Sincerely,
